About The Perspectives Course

Perspectives on the World Christian Movement or the Perspectives Study Program (PSP) is arguably the best and most comprehensive in-depth study program on missions found anywhere in the world today. It will add important depth to any mission movement in any country!

We see the PSP, like the Kairos Course, as a tool for general mobilization which contributes to the growth and development of “World Christians”. It is an excellent follow up to the Kairos Course.

The PSP is essentially a reading-based course. Produced by the US Center for World Mission, the Perspectives Reader is edited by Steven Hawthorne and Dr Ralph Winter and contains some 141 articles written by over 90 mission scholars from both the western and non-western world. The program covers the Biblical, Historical, Cultural and Strategic dimensions of world Christian mission.

The readings are supplemented with introductions, DVD presentations and several interactive activities.

LSI is offering the PSP over a two week period, once a year, at the LSI Center in the Philippines.
